New Company Website
Higgins Corporation in South Portland, Maine approached SMC Freelance about building a new website for them after they had issues with their current host and lack of features on their existing website. They needed a site that could be built quickly and cheaply, and allow them to control the content and the hosting services.
SMC Freelance worked with them to find a new host and a theme that fit their budget. Then we went to worked their in-house graphic designer on the content and layout. We were able to launch their new site in less than 35 man-hours of work from start to finish, which included time for additional items not in the original proposal. In the future, they hope to add an online store to their site, and will be able to do so with the features included in the new site’s design.
