In 2016, SMC Freelance was made aware of an open bid by a regional home owner’s association, the Lake Hartwell Association, for developing a new mobile-friendly website for their organization. After winning the bid, in the fall of that year, and meeting with the association’s leadership early that winter, we built them a new responsive WordPress site, porting over tons of content from their old CMS HTML site, and trimming it down to usable SEO content. The new site is also linked to the association’s PayPal account for automated membership processing.
